Objective: To provide expert insights for the launch of a new consumer equity service

Outcome: Added psychological credibility to press releases, which garnered national attention, and addressed the press at the launch event

Waggener Edstrom (WE) approached brainchimp as a source of expertise for a project – the launch of a consumer equity website, Youstice. The site acts as a simple arbitrator between consumers and brands when issues, such as faulty products, arise. With the site being launched, WE required expert insights on consumer psychology and consumer trends to support the press releases.

As such, brainchimp outlined in a report the psychological principles (such as fluency) and consumer trends (such as the digital revolution) which favoured the release of Youstice, and explained how Youstice was inherently designed to help consumers. These insights were condensed into quotes for the launch-accompanying press releases, which garnered attention in the national press.

Youstice also held a launch event in London, where a brainchimp expert addressed the attending members of the press, explaining the psychology behind why Youstice works.

Subsequent to this, brainchimp also conducted several BBC radio interviews.
